Culver City Fun
First up, we have Platform in Culver City. This artsy, chic corner of Culver City includes tons of shops and dining options. There is even a Soulcycle! It is a great place to take the family with their outdoor seating areas surrounded by fun artwork and murals. Restaurants here include Sweetgreen and Loqui. You can also update your wardrobe at Reformation. You can even shop for your AVEN apartment over at Tom Dixon! Platform also hosts tons of fun pop-ups that you can stay up to date with here.
Restaurants in Culver City
Did someone say pasta? We did! Over in Culver City at the Helms Bakery complex is some of the most delicious pasta from Pasta Sisters. It includes two patio areas and loads of variety as far as pasta is concerned. Most of the bowls are build-your-own. We highly suggest anything with the pesto sauce.
There is also Amacita, a great Tex-Mex restaurant. Bring a large group of friends here because everything is meant to be shared. And please remember to order the queso.
Finally, there is Lukshon, a Chinese fusion spot, perfect for any occasion. They have great dumplings and noodles which can be enjoyed on their patio.
Grab your friends, a picnic basket, and some wine and experience movies on a whole other level with Cinespia at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Arrive early to enjoy food and music while watching the sunset. You will even see people dressed up as the characters of the movie screening that night. When the summer cemetary season ends, they keep the films rolling indoors over at the Palace Theater.
Looking for a delicious French restaurant? Then head over to Petit Trois. This is one of those restaurants that does not take reservations. If you go for dinner, you will be waiting in a line that is well worth it. Their escargot is iconic and drenched in garlic and parsley.
Beauty & Essex
A great date night restaurant in Hollywood is the glamorous Beauty & Essex. Unlike Petit Trois, you can make a reservation! Beauty & Essex takes up a total of 10,000 square feet. It features multiple floors including a courtyard and patio on the second level. You can also create an intimate dining experience in the lavish private dining room. Did we mention that they have an incredible menu? It includes multi-ethnic dishes like grilled cheese and tomato soup dumplings plus tuna poke wonton tacos.
We also have an all-day cafe, Jane Q. Located at the Kimpton Everly Hotel, this bright and airy cafe is perfect for a casual day-time bite. Best of all, a lot of their ingredients are sourced from the nearby Hollywood Farmers Market. Now for the menu. Honorable mentions include fried chicken and sourdough waffles.
So Far Sounds in Hollywood and LA
There is also So Far Sounds. From Hollywood to DTLA So Far Sounds is a traveling concert. They have up and coming singers and songwriters perform in different locations all around the city. The best part? The locations are secret and aren’t revealed until the night of. Regardless of who is performing, you are surrounded by unique and talented creatives in beautiful LA homes, parks, and restaurants.
