There is always so much going on near your AVEN luxury apartments in LA. With all the things to do in Los Angeles, our bucket lists can get a bit full. We are here to help you out and let you know what you should prioritize on that bucket list.
Things to do in Los Angeles: Fitness
Starting with fitness! You do not have to go far when it comes to achieving your fitness goals. If you aren’t able to make our complimentary HIIT, Bootcamp, and yoga classes, create your own fitness schedule at any one of the specialized fitness studios nearby. That includes the new Orange Theory Fitness just below your apartments in LA along with an F45 just across the street. If you are looking to find your center, there is also Unplug in Santa Monica. They have a unique list of classes including sound baths. If you enjoy working out with a view, your apartments in downtown Los Angeles are near some great hiking trails. That includes Runyon Canyon, Fryman Canyon, as well as the Silverlake stairs and Venice canals.
Concerts & Events
Onto entertainment! AVEN is near three of the best venues in all of LA. In particular, the Staples Center, the Wiltern, and The Theater at Ace Hotel with shows happening daily. All you have to do is choose what show you want to go to. The best way to stay on high alert of what shows are in town is through Bandsintown. Other great shows that happen around LA are Sofar Sounds and Candipop. Sofar Sounds are hidden, intimate concerts all around LA. They feature up and coming artists and happen daily all over the city. Candipop is a monthly dance party in Silverlake. Over at the Satellite, DJ’s spin classic 90’s and early 2000’s pop music all night long on the 3rd Friday of every month.
Things to do in Los Angeles: Flea Markets
We all love a flea market and we have tons in this city. That includes our Grand Central Market in Historic Core plus the Wednesday farmers market in Pershing Square from 10 AM to 2 PM. We also have some favorites outside of the downtown area. That includes the Saturday Hollywood farmers market and the Melrose Place farmers market on Sundays from 10 AM to 2 PM.
Last up, culture. Living in Los Angeles has a lot of perks. One of them is its history. Let’s start with our neighborhood. We have some beautiful Art Deco buildings like the Eastern Columbia Building. Let’s not forget about the iconic Bradbury Building. We also have all the galleries in the arts district. Our favorites are OTI, Hauser & Wirth, and Art Share LA. Outside of downtown LA, there is the Griffith Observatory which will give you the most magnificent view of all of LA. Similar to MOCA and The Broad, there are some incredible collections of artwork over at The Getty.
There you have it. Now get to it!
