We are all missing a lot right now. Vacations, concerts, and sports. However, when there is a will, there is a way. Just like our blog post that takes you around the world through virtual tours, we have insight into all the ways to enjoy sports while sheltering at home at AVEN apartments in downtown LA.

Watch sports documentaries

If you haven’t already heard, one of, if not the greatest basketball player of all time, has a documentary out! The Last Dance all about Michael Jordan has already wrapped up, which means you can now stream all eight episodes on ESPN.com. The Last Dance may be the newest and hottest sports documentary at the moment, but there are plenty more out there. There’s Beyond the Mat for all you wrestle maniacs out there. It’s quite old, but still a classic. Do You Believe in Miracles is excellent for everyone looking to get a hockey fix. Show off your LA pride with Dogtown and Z-Boys. Skateboarding may not be what it used to, but this skateboarding documentary is quite a treat. There are no baseball games at the moment. However, you can keep the sport in season with the documentary, The Life and Times of Hank Greenberg.

Play sports video games

Get your fill of almost every sport right at your fingertips! That includes Madden, NBA 2K, the Electronic Arts NHL games, and MLB The Show. You don’t have to stick to the major American sports. Skate around the world with any Tony Hawk game or fight it out in an old school video game like Tekken or Mortal Kombat.

Catch up on old games

Luckily for everyone living at AVEN apartments for rent in downtown Los Angeles, all four major American sports are offering ways to watch past games for free for a limited time! From now until May 31st, NFL Game Pass is free, which means that you can access every NFL game since 2009. A free preview of NBA League Pass is also available. For a limited time, MLB.TV will be opening its archives from 2018 and 2019. Last but not least, NHL.com is providing you access to archived games on its site, app, and social media platforms.
