With the warm weather spilling into the Fall this year, we thought it would be best to give you all more insight into all the hot spots over in Santa Monica.

Santa Monica Third Street Promenade

First, we have a staple of the Westside, Third Street Promenade in Downtown SM. Third Street Promenade consists of three open-air, car-free blocks filled with tons of dining and shopping opportunities. Shops include a beautiful Apple store, Urban Outfitters, plus REI. There is also Santa Monica Place within Third Street that includes a Nike, Hugo Boss, and Tory Burch. As far as dining goes, there is The Misfit, True Food Kitchen, Supertoro, and Bruxie. But that doesn’t even scratch the surface. If you don’t go shopping, enjoy live entertainment from the street performers!

Muscle Beach

Up next is another LA landmark that should definitely ring a bell. While Muscle Beach may not be in SM, it is very close by over in Venice. It is not only a gym for chiseled bodybuilders but also a fun spot for onlookers to enjoy the Venice scene and culture.

Santa Monica Restaurants

If the list of restaurants from Third Street Promenade was not enough, here are a few more:

Michael’s

To all the contemporary art fans with an affinity for al fresco dining, make your way over to Michael’s just off of 3rd street. If any of our AVEN residents have a special occasion to celebrate, do so at Michael’s. Their menu is expensive but well worth it. The same goes for the art collection hanging on the walls. Also, Michael’s has plenty of seating options including a back patio reminiscent of a European cafe. Best of all, Michael’s has an all-night happy hour Monday through Saturday from 5:30 PM to 10 PM.

Elephante

Up next is one of the most exclusive bars and restaurants in LA, Elephante. This beautiful, open-air rooftop restaurant has a fantastic menu with prime cocktails. However, the real star of Elephante is the view. The intimate indoor/outdoor space is much like a living room with modern and comfortable chic furniture.

Ingo’s

Looking for a casual date night spot? Then head on over to Ingo’s Tasty Diner on Wilshire. This historic diner space has a large menu featuring some of the best brussel sprouts in town. Plus, it is all farm to table with happy hour every day until 7 PM. Also, we highly suggest heading over on Saturday’s for their Live Lounge Jazz performances.
