Restaurants in Downtown LA

First Draft Taproom & Kitchen

Our first spot is within walking distance from your AVEN luxury apartments for rent in downtown Los Angeles. First Draft is known for their beer, so if you want to pick up drinks for happy hour, this is the place. Regardless of what beer you order, pair it with their mac and cheese.

Faith & Flower

If you are like us, you love weekend brunch. Especially when it’s from Faith & Flower. The highlights on their brunch menu are the prosciutto eggs Benedict and roasted cauliflower. Along with brunch, they are open for dinner. That menu has a delightful truffled cheeseburger and slow-roasted cod.

Hatch Yakitori

Innovative and sleek are the best ways to describe our next downtown LA restaurant. Hatch Yakitori is an izakaya-style restaurant. As the restaurant’s name entails, it is all about yakitori, which is a very flavorful way of grilling chicken. To explain izakaya a bit further, it is an informal Japanese bar with tapas. Like we mentioned, Hatch has taken on a more modern version of this drinking and dining experience. There is a fresh raw bar and a specialty cocktail menu. In short, it is a Japanese American fusion restaurant. Can you say delicious?

Joey DTLA

Dishes inspired from around the world make up the Joey DTLA menu. They’ve got steak and lobster ravioli, seared salmon sushi, big fish tacos, and filet mignon. There is also plenty of vegan and gluten-free options. We are big fans of their BBQ kit and cocktail kit too.

Little Sister

We are wrapping up our list with some Vietnamese cuisine. Little Sister over on 7th street mixes Southeast Asian flavors with French cooking techniques. They also have an excellent wine list.
