One luxury about living at AVEN in DTLA is that our city goes big on holiday celebrations. Additionally, Los Angeles knows how to give you what you need in order to have the best holiday feast ever! That said, we have dedicated this blog post to the best restaurants to eat out at for Thanksgiving, as well as order-in from for your Thanksgiving dinner.

Thanksgiving Dinner from Wexler’s Deli

There is a chance many of us will not have time to cook up a dish. Or, some of us just can’t cook. That is where Wexler’s Deli comes in. This year, they are catering to you their “Wexler’s Smoked Bird Thanksgiving Dinner.” This menu serves 10 to 12 people and is $395. Some of the dishes featured are a whole smoked free-range turkey, roasted carrots with honey and rosemary, and your choice of pecan or pumpkin pie. If you are interested in this feast, all you have to do is order hereHowever, if this is over your budget, or if you just want to contribute a small dish, refer to any of their dishes from their regular menu. Take for instance their side dishes. In particular the egg salad, coleslaw, and potato salad.

Thanksgiving dinner at Cafe Pinot

Then there is Cafe Pinot over in the Financial District. This year, on Thanksgiving Day, they are holding quite the feast. Yes! That is right! You can celebrate outside of the house at one of our favorite restaurants in DTLA. From 2 PM to 8 PM,  you can indulge in either their three-course meal for $70 per person, or their four-course meal for $90 per person. There is also a children’s menu available for $29 for those under the age of 10. Some of the featured dishes on their menu include their Jerusalem Artichoke Soup, Smoked Pork Shoulder, and a pumpkin mousse. Whichever course you choose, it will be delicious as you wine and dine on LA’s prettiest patio. If you choose to dine out here for Thanksgiving, be sure to reserve a table ASAP.

The Pie Hole

As far as bakeries are concerned, there are a few. However, nothing compares to The Pie Hole in the Arts District. As far as their Thanksgiving menu goes, here are just some of your options: chocolate brownie pie, caramel apple, blueberry crumble, and apple dulce de leche. For those interested in seeing what else they have, check out their menu here. Also, you have the option of ordering in-store or online. They even deliver!

Sprinkles

There may be no pie here, but Sprinkles at FIGat7th will surely have some Thanksgiving flavored cupcakes for you. Some of this months featured flavors to offer as your Thanksgiving dish include pumpkin pecan pie, double stuffed oreo, and their white chocolate raspberry cupcake.

Well, there you have it! From catered dinners to contributing small dishes, we hope you all have a fantastic Thanksgiving this year.
