Attention all art lovers, when you live at AVEN you have the opportunity to explore all sorts of new works of art. Particularly about 12 minutes away in the Downtown Arts District. All along East 3rd street, you will find yourself immersed in some of the best boutique galleries in all of Los Angeles.

Over the Influence

First up is Over the Influence. Located at 833 East 3rd Street, this space hosts all sorts of temporary exhibits. Best of all, it is FREE. However, there are souvenir spaces just outside for you to purchase a memento to remember your art-filled day. At this moment in time, they are hosting an incredible exhibit of the works of one of the pioneers in the world of street art, Space Invader. The collection includes replicas of some of his best work, much of which can be found right here in Los Angeles. However, do know that this Space Invader exhibit is only around for one more week.

Hauser & Wirth in the Downtown Arts District

Up next is Hauser & Wirth. Fun fact about Hauser & Wirth, there are a number of them all over the country. That includes the one in Miami, Florida that hosts Art Basel. And you can be sure that the LA gallery is showing off some incredible work. In addition to the gallery spaces, Hauser & Wirth has a very vibrant community with tons of social spaces. That includes a fantastic restaurant, patio area, and boutique shops. At this moment in time, they are showing a fantastic Alexander Calder exhibit called ‘Nonspace’. They also are still showing an enlightening gallery called ‘Manifesto’ by Julian Rosefeldt featuring Cate Blanchett.

And once you filled yourself with all this art, stay a while after and grab yourself a cocktail, some coffee, or ice cream nearby. They even have a Salt & Straw right next door to Over the Influence. Have fun! And remember, our specials are still going on. Get up to 6 weeks free when you move in January. Also, you still can get moving costs covered up to $1,000.
