What a wonderful year it has been at AVEN luxury apartments! With all your holiday plans set and stone, it is now time to prepare for the new year. To help you all out, here are all the fun happenings going on to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Los Angeles.
Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Los Angeles: Where to catch fireworks in LA
Marina del Rey
Celebrate the last day of 2019 with a bang! Downtown LA may not have any firework shows but you can catch them elsewhere. Our favorite is Marina del Rey Fireworks. The night begins with a family-friendly glow party. The fireworks themselves are set off from Burton Chace Park and they are visible from a number of places. That includes the restaurants all along the harbor. However, these restaurants often host ticket dinners which do get pricey. That said, we suggest finding a spot along the water to enjoy the show for free.
EVE at Universal Studios Hollywood
With our next spot, we suggest making a full day out of it. Head on over to Universal Studios Hollywood and Citywalk. Hop on some rides and stick around at night for their firework display. There are multiple party areas around the park such as Universal Plaza and near Revenge of the Mummy, which you can enjoy with a beer or glass of wine. Do know that those party areas require a ticket that you can purchase here.
Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Los Angeles: New Year’s Eve Parties
The celebration continues with all the New Year’s Eve parties in Los Angeles. This year, we are keeping things local in downtown Los Angeles starting with Grand Park. Grand Park will be hosting a communal countdown with N.Y.E.L.A. Arrive early and enjoy DJ sets, photogenic installations, and food trucks.
Our neighborhood keeps things going over at Union Station for Prohibition NYE. Travel back to the 1920s and dance the night away to live music with burlesque dancers and custom cocktails. They will even have their own 60-foot custom ball for the final countdown.
